KEDGE Business School is recruiting a Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Negotiation on a part-time permanent contract with a teaching load of 69 hours per academic year, based in Marseille.
The successful candidate will deliver courses in negotiation across different programmes and student profiles (including international and exchange students). The position requires a broad approach to negotiation, going beyond a purely sales-oriented perspective, with a strong emphasis on management and theoretical frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and delivering courses and teaching materials;
Teaching within our academic programmes;
Assessing students’ work and learning outcomes (examinations, assignments, continuous assessment, resit examinations, etc.).
Required profile and qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Management Sciences or a related field;
Proven experience teaching negotiation (past and/or current), in higher education or professional training;
Recognised expertise in negotiation, with a broad managerial and theoretical perspective (beyond sales-focused approaches);
At least five years of significant professional experience in the relevant field (consulting or equivalent activity);
Professional experience in a corporate environment would be a strong asset;
Experience using case-based simulations in teaching would be highly appreciated;
Ability to teach in English (mandatory) and in French, depending on teaching requirements.
Soft skills:
Strong teaching abilities and commitment to knowledge transmission;
Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student audiences (including international and exchange students);
Professional attitude and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work collaboratively within an academic environment.
Employment conditions:
Contract type: Part-time permanent contract, with a teaching load of 69 teaching hours (contact hours) per academic year, based in Marseille;
Status: Cadre;
Paid leave: 7 weeks per year;
Job title: Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer (depending on profile);
